The painter José Antonio Molina Sánchez Murcia Palace Almudí again, this time from the hand of his 'angels'.
A set of 24 large-format oil paintings and five drawings show an issue that Molina Sánchez has tried throughout his life: the angels.
The exhibition, which will be open from tomorrow until May 24, includes paintings in which angels show humanized and angelic women.
Some of these paintings are part of the collection of large format on the great artist angels Murcia held in 1981.
The assignment of these works demonstrate, in addition to Molina Sánchez talent, his immense generosity and your interest in sharing his painting.
José Antonio Molina Sánchez was born in Murcia in 1918 and although he moved to Madrid, every spring he returned to his study Salabosque.
Sánchez Molina's career is full of hits and awards: participated in the XXVIII Venice Biennale a few years later, at the Biennale of Alexandria, where he earned a bronze medal.
In 1963 he received the first medal for drawing in the National Fine Arts.
In 1972 he received the Laurel Award for Fine Arts and, last year the Autonomous Community of the Region was awarded the Prize of Arts and Letters.
His last retrospective exhibitions were held in 1995 Almudí in 2002 in the Hall of St. Stephen and in 2004 in the CAM.
The painter Murcia has since last year with its own Foundation, which has yielded numerous works and has become the main legacy of his work.
