The Board of the Planning Department, which met this morning, approved the text of the specific amendment to the General Urban Plan (Plan) that allows the burial of the railway.

The operation cost is estimated at 195 million euros, of which 84 million will be financed by capital gains derived from the operation and the remaining 111 million will be provided by the Ministry (66%), Autonomous Region (26%) and Hall (8%).
The Special Plan of El Carmen allow construction of 1,300 housing units, of which 20% will VPO.
In addition, they will rise buildings surrounded by gardens, broad avenues, along the lines of Ronda Sur.
It will create 34,700 meters square of green areas and equipment 11,300 meters square and a public parking spaces underground and surface parking.
Among the major projects include the construction of a boulevard linking Barriomar with Pain and two roads that will link the district of Carmen Ronda Sur and Patiño.
The redevelopment of the area allowed for the construction of large areas dotacionales as a resort, commercial and office building.
