Social Screening Service and Volunteerism at the University of Murcia and the Association of Relatives of Alzheimer Sewer (AFAD) will hold a conference on Participation and Social Commitment Alzheimer's disease for 24, 25 and 26 March.
The conference will include the participation of social workers, psychologists, nurses, educators, doctors and journalists, develop themes such as Alzheimer's disease in the media, the social impact of the disease, the patient-health personnel or new technologies as a tool for social participation.
Attendance at the conference is free and attendees will have opportunity to get free credits 0.5, upgradeable to 1 with 15 hours of volunteer related associations.
The activities will be closed by Aurelio Luna Maldonado, Regional President of the Red Cross, M ª José Carrillo Escobar, Coordinator of Social Outreach and Volunteer of the University of Murcia and Julia Fernández Sánchez, President of AFAD.
