Raise awareness of volunteering opportunities in situations of need, create a favorable public opinion on social action volunteering with vulnerable groups and volunteers provide knowledge and skills for better development of their activity, are the objectives of the Basic Course XII for social participation of Volunteers, to be held in the Lecture Hall of the Ronda de Levante 23, 24 and 25 March.
The course will be inaugurated on 23 at 16:30 by Francisco Guillermo Díaz Baños, Vice Chancellor of University Extension; Quílez Leopoldo Navarro, Director General of Immigration and Volunteer of the CARM, Clara María Alarcón Ruiz, President of 'Cultural Volunteers' of Murcia, Maria Luisa Honrubia and Villar, President of 'Olympic Volunteers' in the Region of Murcia, and Angel Ignacio Fernandez Child, Chairman of the' Circle of Pedagogy, Psychology and Education. "
The course is aimed at volunteers, professionals and members of organizations with volunteers and students, faculty and staff of the University of Murcia, educators and social workers, and matr'cula is free, is expected to be granted 0.5 credits free configuration assistance.
The initiative is organized by the Social Screening Service and Volunteerism at the University of Murcia, Olympic volunteers in the Region of Murcia, Circle of Pedagogy, Psychology and Education and Cultural Volunteers of the Region of Murcia.
