The City, through Aguas de Murcia, has developed in recent years a collaboration agreement with Aguas de La Habana for the rehabilitation of much of the water supply and sanitation networks in Old Havana.
The balance of this agreement has been one of the issues discussed today by the Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, and the directors of Aguas de la Habana found on a visit to Murcia.
The delegation is composed, among others, Jesus Hernandez, vice president of the National Institute of Water Resources of Cuba, Avilio Guevara, deputy director general of Aguas de la Habana, and Jose Oller, director general of Aguas de la Habana.
During his stay in the city, the delegation visited the facilities of Aguas de Murcia and have experienced directly the implementation of new technologies in sustainable water management.
