The deputy spokesman of the Socialist Group and Coordinating Secretary PSRM-PSOE, Francisco Javier Oñate, asked why the Popular Party politicians in municipalities and in the Autonomous Region have taken many measures favorable to the decision that is of UCAM an individual and not of the Church.
Oñate said that "there is dislike in society recognized Murcia to the fact that a private university, which everyone thought belonged to the Church, suddenly it is discovered that may be given to an individual."
The Socialist Party believes that both the autonomous region and from the hierarchy have made bad choices regarding the ownership of the UCAM.
"We do not think that these decisions taken by the church hierarchy was able to return despite other favors, as we have seen in the media."
The Socialist leader recalled that in the opinion of legal experts and the PSOE the ownership of the duty UCAM settled in civil courts and not in church areas.
As promised in his day, former Socialist parliamentary group spokesman, José Ramón Jara.
Oñate concluded that "have to ask whether it is true that there were favors that are paying and what are the reasons which led the Popular Party to take many steps to bring the UCAM in the hands of an individual."
