UCAM currently developing the second session of the XIX National Conference of Sports Traumatology, which closed this afternoon in the Chamber of Commerce of Murcia.
From 'last hours of the afternoon yesterday several experts lecture on the prevention of injuries in different sports.
It should be noted that this morning as part of the conference was held a press conference in which the co-directors of the Department of Sport Traumatology UCAM, doctors Pedro Guillén and José Luis Martínez Romero, together with the director of scientific committee of the conference, Dr. Francisco Esparza, explained the grant to the chair of a scholarship of great importance by the Ministry of Science and Innovation.
According to Dr Pedro Guillén, the grant to the Department of Sport Traumatology UCAM allowed to continue studying a new technique for assessing the knee and to prevent or brace, or exercise, or physical therapy techniques, knee injuries, "and I believe more in the direction of prevention of injury to the child."
Dr. Guillen, has asserted that the mission of this research is to assess the prevention of knee injury by normal means when the person is still in developmental age, or an athlete you can still learn, but mostly aimed at people in formation. "

The Conference concluded this afternoon at 20.15 with a lecture by Dr. Pedro Guillén.
