Cartagena receives more than 237,000 euros to finance three project
This amount represents 70% of project budget, which is transferred after the award of the contract and after the provision of certifications by municipalities
Across Spain, 4,669 projects are already funded for an amount of 233,510,602.35 euros.
It is estimated that these investments will create 29,003 jobs
The Ministry of Public Administrations (MAP) has made today a release of funds amounting to EUR 12,359,395.01 for the city of Murcia with which you can start 13 projects funded under the Local Investment Fund.
Cartagena City Council also receives 237,219.06 euros to finance three projects.
The amount transferred is 70% of the total project budget.
Once awarded the contracts for the execution of works and after receiving the certification of electronic town halls, the MAP has proceeded, as required by Royal Decree of November 28 that created the Local Investment Fund, to pay to municipalities 70% of the cost of procurement of projects.
The remaining amount will be paid at the end of the work and upon presentation of proper justification.
Among the projects for which today has authorized the release of funds, show a prolonged amount of road connecting Sangonera Sangonera La Seca and La Verde and the construction of sidewalks in many neighborhoods in the city.

OTROS PROYECTOS EN LA REGION DE MURCIA
El MAP ha aprobado también la financiación de otros diez proyectos a tres municipios más de la Región de Murcia.
Se trata de Abarán, que va a recibir los 336.722,78 euros correspondientes al 70% de seis proyectos, Alhama de Murcia (39.294,45 euros para un proyecto) y Cehegín (80.419,42 euros, que suponen la financiación inicial de tres proyectos).

Therefore, the total funds delivered today by the Ministry of Public Administration for the conduct of these five municipalities in Murcia of 26 works submitted by them to the Local Investment Fund, Plan E, amounts to 13,053,050, 72 euros.
Bypass SPANISH FUNDS IN CITIES
The release of funds approved today by the Ministry of Public Administration in the nation as a whole amounts to EUR 77,058,862.76, corresponding to 1,056 projects to be funded under the Local Investment Fund in different municipalities.
With this amount, the MAP has been transferred to date a total of EUR 233,510,602.35 2,187 4,669 municipalities to finance projects under this Fund.
The amount transferred is 70% of the budget allocation of projects, which employ 29,003 people.
Following the presentation of nearly 31,000 projects from 10 December to 24 January, 8108 for municipalities and the verification of the initiatives by the government delegations and sub, the MAP has adopted today a total of 30,868 projects submitted by
8.094 consistorios y siete mancomunidades.
Estas iniciativas, con un presupuesto de casi 7.998 millones de euros, generarán 278.332 puestos de trabajo directos.
