The university association ALUM (Students of Arts from the University of Murcia) today held its first meeting in extraordinary general meeting with all members on a day marked by the election of candidates headed by Joaquín Sánchez Lara and in which board was composed of: Vice President, Teun Nard, Registrar, Thomas Montesinos Costa as Treasurer, Marcelo Biedma Celdran.
At that meeting have been approved statutes, the activities proposed by the board, among which the round table will focus on the European Higher Education Area Plan and will feature a number of specialists in the new curriculum, and finally, the budget for the rest of the school year.
The purpose of this association are the development of additional training activities and teaching program, such as discussion forums, conferences and seminars to enhance students' academic training.
Another key objective of ALUM is actively involved in university life at the University of Murcia and in its governance and representation.
Next week, is scheduled to President Joaquin Lara with his vice president, Teun Nard, meet with the Vice-Chancellor of studies to be presented formally request an appointment with the Magnificent Rector of the University of Murcia, D. Jose Antonio Cobacho.
