Note from PSOE:

The Socialist Group expressed its satisfaction twice, both for the award of this project with a major financial allocation from the Government of Spain for 716,000 euros, and because the company awarded the contract is an undertaking of Murcia and the direct and indirect employment will generate the implementation of this station

The Municipal Socialist Group welcomes the award of the project to refurbish and adapt the building for District Police station in the neighborhood of El Carmen, located in the old Post Office building at the railway station of El Carmen, and will feature a substantial financial allocation from the Government of Spain of 716,000 euros.

Likewise, the PSOE mayor Alfonso Navarro also emphasizes the satisfaction of the Socialist Group because the company awarded the contract is an undertaking of Murcia and the direct and indirect employment generated from this project.

However, Navarro points out the lack of collaboration that has shown throughout the RFP process at City Hall to the attainment of the Southern District police station, which has continued to stand in this project, such as:

Continuing objections to the Ministry of Interior of places for their location.
