In 1998 a group of singers were selected to sing in a regional competition called "Cantigas de Mayo."
The organizer of the show, Juan Antonio Cortés, proposed creating a partnership to make this music, and thus was born the AMCA. Since then, countless concerts and singers have passed through this partnership and some of them have made the leap to professional .
The Association is a nonprofit organization because the goal is to help the region to grow culturally, extending an art space in the form of composing and performing songs.
Saturday's concert will be one of the main events of the celebration of the tenth anniversary, bringing together singers founders (many of them do not sing in public) with other songwriters who have been important to the partnership over the last ten years.
One of the characteristics of the partnership is that it has always been open to any request altruistic.
From the Alzheimer's Foundation to working women, social exclusion days in favor of human rights, support the Red Cross, joined hands ... singing has been an act of personal pleasure and a way to support the struggles made to make the world more fair.
Therefore, the concert will be performed with Umoyo associations (Federation of committees of solidarity with black Africa) and Friends of the South.
Also always associated his artwork to other fellow artists from other areas: dance, photography, painting ... that is why for the concert will be a projection of images of CLASS (IN) VISIBLE.
