New Javalí neighbors win pedestrian space in the center of town with the projects approved by the City for the expansion of the Plaza de la Ermita and pedestrian several sections of Bridge Street, Oven and Concepción.
This project aims to expand the Place de la Ermita, which currently occupies an area of 1,200 square meters and will be of 2,100 square meters.
The square of the Hermitage and its surroundings will be equipped with pavement in different colors and precast paving to facilitate pedestrian traffic and improve aesthetics.
The sections of Bridge Street, Concepción Oven is intended pedestrianise are very narrow-sections 4 to 6 meters where hardly a car and sidewalks very small.
These works have been requested by the Municipal Board.
The Governing Board approved the project and contract specifications for construction.
The Municipality will invest 240,000 euros and the execution time is four months.
