Murcia University opened today in the Auditorium, the Congress on Globalisation University Association for Human Rights Development and Students (AUPEMUR) organized in collaboration with the Department of Social Economy of the educational institution.
After the opening session, which was conducted by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Esperanza Orihuela, and Eva Maria Rubio, academic director of the Congress, held a panel discussion that addressed the role of social economy enterprises a crisis.
The panel, moderated by the director of that Chair, Rosalie Alfonso, addressed the values that make the worker cooperatives and worker-owned companies and making them more impervious to the vagaries of economic cycles.
In particular, spoke of stable employment and quality of the employment of groups at risk of exclusion and democratic structure and function as defining characteristics of social economy enterprises.
Subsequently, teachers at the University of Murcia Antonio Campillo, Teresa Vicente and Eugenio Moya discussed the Justice and Globalization in international society.
At the time of the afternoon, Professor Enrique Egea speak on "The global economic crisis" and organized a conference on European cooperation in criminal law which will involve judges of the courts and Torrevieja Totana.
The Congress, which ends on day 13, continues tomorrow with new tables and conferences will continue the study of globalization in its economic and legal.
