About thirty students from the UCAM enjoyed a seminar on Introduction to art and culture of Korea during the 4th and 5th of March.
Experts in the field as the music teacher at the Catholic University of Gwangchu (Korea), Sun Hwa Choi and the Korean Taekwondo master, Won Duk-hong, immersed the audience in the heart of Korea through its art and culture.
The course, organized by the Vice President of University Extension of the Catholic University, had as its main goal to show students, in an attractive manner, the characteristics of the Korean people through a review of their geographical, historical and cultural, making emphasis on spirituality, dance and especially music.
The teacher explained Won Duk-hong, during the first day, some of the spiritual and philosophical aspects of Taekwondo, and a demonstration of self-defense exercises and skill.
For its part, Sun Hwa Choi, led a session of relaxation and concentration, which followed the conclusion of the tea ceremony.
