The call Award for Painting and Photography at the University of Murcia was presented today at a ceremony held in convalescence and has attended by, among others, the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, and the councilman of Culture Municipality of Murcia, Fátima Barnuevo.

Painting Prize, which reaches its tenth year, is sponsored by the lodge Mansion Rural La Seda and is endowed with 8,000 euros, plus another 4,000 for two honorable mentions.

The deadline for entries is 29 May to 12 June.

The IX Photography Award, sponsored by the Art Gallery "Art" Nine "and with a budget of 1,800 euros, opens the deadline for submitting entries is March 23 and runs until 30 April.
