Books published by the University of Murcia will be available in the Google Books search, according to the agreement announced today in the building of Convalescence.
Thus, the 1,900 books that comprise the fund, Publishing editorial appear in the Google search engine, allowing users to access the knowledge generated in the educational institution Murcia.
The coordinator of Publications Service, José Antonio Gómez, and the head of Google Books in Spain, Luis Collado, emphasized the benefits of this collaboration, which means "increase the international dissemination of the University."
Along with the digitization of the publishing catalog of the University (EDITUM), a process that will take place within 15 weeks, the agreement signed today provides for the development of future applications between the two entities.
The signing ceremony was chaired by José Antonio Cobacho rector, who had a memory for the recently deceased Professor Joseph Perona, who was coordinator of Publications Service.
