Sanbta Eulalia's neighbors will have a new garden on Calle San Antonio (02/03/2009)

The residents of the Santa Eulalia have a new garden in the street San Antonio, one of the more traditional neighborhood, where you create a garden in which the City will invest 452,000 euros.

The garden is located between Marengo Street and Raymond of the Kings, on a site which is currently free of buildings.

The project has designed the service of Parks and Gardens of the City Council has wanted to make this green space into a playground and rest easy for users.

The area will be ordered from a few roads left orthogonal plantation areas to lower level.

Also you get a residence area shaded by a large pergola.

The sustainability criteria are paramount in this new garden design in order to provide the best space to the neighbors.

The garden will be closed on alternate sheets of metal, ceramic and recycled material.

The area will meet accessibility standards, and for that platform will be built with minimal slopes, so as to allow transits to a flat foot.

Furniture was also installed to allow the comfort of the rooms in the garden, thinking about users, children and elderly people mostly.

The area will feature children's play rubber flooring, and installed playground equipment in addition to complying with safety regulations.

Work will commence with the fencing and protection of the garden and later needed open trenches that house the facilities provided.

Then proceed to the paving of areas, there will be plantings and finally install the new furniture.

The work, which lasts approximately eight months for completion, will employ eight workers simultaneously.

The works have been awarded to General SA.
