The deputy minister of sports of Cuba, Alberto Juantorena, check the UCAM (27/02/2009)

Sports Deputy Minister of Cuba won two gold medals at the Montreal Olympics 76, Alberto Juantorena, today made a brief visit to the facilities of the UCAM, and maintained a relaxed meeting with the president of the Catholic University, José Luis Mendoza.

University President explained in detail to the Cuban political education project of the institution and emphasized the strong commitment of the Catholic world of sport.

Mendoza, declared admirer of the career of Juantorena and expressed their desire for bilateral cooperation formulas between the UCAM and Cuba in education that serve to enhance and improve the dissemination of culture and sports in the Caribbean country.
