The City provides industrial sewing equipment to the north
The NGO Action Blue, composed of Police Local of Murcia, has organized an expedition to Togo to intervene in three cooperation projects that the organization developed in the north of the country, particularly in the Sabana region.
The main objective of this trip is the health cooperation, so that the performance of the volunteers will focus on performing eye surgeries and treatments of diseases such as cataracts and trachoma.
It is that patients affected by diseases that cause blindness can restore vision, which given the conditions of development and health of this country, and the degree of poverty of the inhabitants of this region would be impossible without medical intervention international .
Spin Doctor Fermín Morales, medical director of Blue in Action, has stressed that this is a necessary since the intervention of Blue in Action and other NGOs working in the area is the only chance of cure for people suffering from eye diseases .
Blue in Action also performed agricultural project to improve productivity of indigenous fruit trees and a project to create sewing vocational training for rural women.
For the latter area have led to the industrial sewing equipment donated by the city of Murcia.
Of the 22 donors who travel to Togo, 17 are professionals in the Region of Murcia, 3 of Asturias, and two from Barcelona and Albacete.
