The Department of Sports City of Murcia, headed by Miguel Cascales, promotes the sport and it has renewed agreements with several clubs that are dedicated to promote different sports.
The aim of the council is to promote the practice of sport in the population that, in addition to the activities and programs carried out by the City Council, sign contracts with clubs that are active to this end.
Sports invest 116,000 euros to promote the sports activities of the University Rugby Club in Murcia, Murcia Athletic Club, Club Swimming Fuensanta Tennis Federation and the region.
The money is intended to keep teams from different clubs federated in national and international competitions and events such as the XXIII International Circuit 'ATP Futures' Tennis Federation, which was held during the month of January February and met in the Region to 94 players at international level.
