The Federation of Associations of People with Disabilities Murcia Physical and Organic Chemistry, FAMDIF / COCEMFE, last week visited the IES's Basilica Algezares the hamlet of Murcia, to continue with the Awareness and Prevention Campaign in education that takes place in schools and institutes in the region.
4 students of ESO and 1 High School participated in the talks given by Angel Soler, president of the Association of Physically Handicapped "Touch Wing," and Emilio Cano and Maria Angeles Riquelme, members of the Committee on Accessibility FAMDIF.
They presented students with an overview of the physical, the Federation member associations, and sought to discover the opinions and knowledge of students on issues related to disability.
Outside the school was installed, also a circuit like a street accessibility obstacles in which young people could see the difficulties encountered daily by people with disabilities.
This visit continues the work begun in September in education, getting the involvement of teachers and students in conducting activities for the information on the different physical and functional disabilities, their problems in the social environment and approach the possibilities for their prevention.
FAMDIF intention of this awareness campaign targeting adolescents issues affect risk factors and prevention, and social awareness on the integration of people with physical disabilities.
