Murcia University today presented Caja Mediterráneo sponsored aid to 34 students who began their studies in this educational institution and are noted for their academic achievement in secondary education.
In a ceremony held at the Chamber of Arts divided the corresponding diplomas and credentials from new students who have proven their academic excellence on their way through high school and vocational training or who have shown their ability in any of the scientific Olympics.
The President of the Territorial Council of Caja Mediterráneo, Angel Martinez, said that the aid is part of the commitment savings institution with the University of Murcia and society in the region.
The event was chaired by the rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, was also attended by Minister of Universities, Business and Research, Salvador Marin, who emphasized that these awards encourage and recognize the effort and knowledge of students.
This initiative is the Vice President for University Extension, headed by Professor Francisco Guillermo Diaz.
