Streamline, organize and improve traffic safety is the goal that the City of Murcia want to achieve with the construction of three roundabouts, two in the Industrial Park West (San Ginés) and in Patiño (between Paseo de Florence and the Avenida General Ortín).

Las obras, que tendrán un plazo de ejecución de dos meses por cada rotonda, supondrán un coste total que asciende a 438.036,5 euros.

 

Industrial Park West.

The two roundabouts to be constructed shall consider a dimension of 32 meters in diameter in two of the three major intersections, and the third is regulated by traffic lights.

Both roundabouts will be located within the existing road to allow better mobility.

The inside lanes (two per roundabout) will be four feet wide, allocating within a shoulder of a meter, and out of a 50-inch, which will facilitate the rotation of special vehicles and articulated.

También está prevista la señalización horizontal y vertical correspondiente en el entorno de ambas rotondas.

El ajardinamiento de del islote central se realizará a base de diferentes especies vegetales, que se regarán por goteo.

El plazo de ejecución de estas dos glorietas será de cuatro meses, a partir de la adjudicación de las mismas.

 

Paseo intersection of Florence Avenue General Ortín.

The purpose of the construction of the roundabout is to order and facilitate the movement at the intersection.

Contará de dos carriles de cuatro metros cada uno, y un arcén interior de un metro, que permitirá el giro de vehículos especiales y articulados, además de contar con un arcén de seguridad exterior de medio metro.

El plazo de ejecución de dicha glorieta será de dos meses aproximadamente.
