The Mayor, Miguel Angel House, has offered this morning a reception at the Athletic Club Volleyball Murcia 2005, which last weekend declared the third consecutive year won the Copa de la Reina.
In the event, which has been attended by the Deputy Mayor of Sports, Miguel Cascales, and managers, technical staff and players of the team, the Mayor has handed over a plaque of this new title and has reminded the players that "competitions where you share victories are counted."
However, the title won in the Queen's Cup is the second to get the club this season after winning the Super Cup.
In addition to congratulate them, House has sought to highlight the importance of their work "and the example we suppose to so many girls interested in this sport."
