The construction of the new Auditorium Algezares are nearing completion, and for that reason, the council of Festivals and Popular Culture, Rafael Gomez, visited the facilities.
One of the elements highlighted in this building is the incorporation of a mural Parraga, recovered from the former Casino de Algezares.
His installation will take place in the lobby of the auditorium.
The new auditorium, which the City of Murcia has invested one million euros, will boost the cultural life of the parish with a sense multifunctional: the hall and shows will also ballroom or meeting in accordance with the needs of neighbors, since the seating is not fixed.
It also has a stage in front of pit musicians.
The new building, about 600 square meters occupies a space of 826 square meters and has a porch inspired by the rhythm of the staff.
It has a multipurpose room and stage with 249 seats and will form part of the network of municipal halls and theaters of Murcia, with programming throughout the year when it comes into operation, expected in 2010.
Algezares scenic tradition and the many cultural groups, the Centre for Women Victoria Kent, Saavedra Fajardo Group Lyrical, traditional Barceló Theatre, has been instrumental in developing the project.
