Encourage participation by all sectors of the educational community in the life of schools is one of the objectives that the City of Murcia intends to carry out the line that allocates grants through the Department of Education and Personal , directed by Pilar Megía, federations and associations of parents of schools in the municipality of Murcia.
The aid granted by the Department of Education provides this course have a total of 64 recipients (4 federations and 60 associations of parents of students from schools in the municipality).
In addition to encouraging participation also aims to promote the formation of associations and federations to collaborate actively in the organization and management of schools to improve educational quality.
The financial contribution that is intended for next year 2009 is 42,848 euros (has seen an increase over 2008 of about 7%) and is aimed at nursery and primary associations in the municipality of Murcia.
It should be noted that last year were a total of 55 associations and groups that received financial assistance from the City of Murcia.
The aid is intended at least 60 by 100 to cover course fees generated as a result of the implementation of activities.
The rest may be used to cover costs of administrative activities of these entities.
Grant exempted associations which have received support from the Neighborhood District or those who are indebted to the municipal treasury.
Of all the groups who applied, were left out five associations having received grant neighborhood councils or districts, three associations, not to be beneficiaries of this call, two, not to justify the grant last year, a association, submit the application after the deadline, and three, not correct documents within the deadline.
