UCAM has recently started to deliver the second edition of the Master in Bioethics.
This postgraduate qualification aims to reflect on various aspects related to the field of bioethics, "taking as a reference to the person, the value of life as a primary and fundamental source of all human rights and of all kinds social ", says the director of the Master, Gloria M ª Tomás.
These studies are aimed at graduates in general interested in humanistic education, especially for professionals involved in health sciences, education or legal practice.
Among the teachers of this Master include, among other experts, Professor Gloria Maria Thomas, the Professor of Psychogeriatrics, Demetrio Barcia, the rector of Religious Affairs, José Alberto Cánovas, associate professor of Bioethics, Modesto Ferrer, the Vice-Chancellor University Extension, Joaquin Jares, and the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Francisco de la Torre.
During the Masters, to be conducted on a line-except on the conference to be held at the end of the modules of the syllabus, will address many issues today.
These include among human sexuality, bioethics on terminal illness and life, as well as genetics and the beginning of human life.
The director of the Master in Bioethics, Professor Gloria M ª Tomás, asserts that "the aim of this science is applied to new and different problems that arise in the realm of life, finding effective solutions.
