The Socialist Party claims that works are built in Murcia city and not legalize irregular, as reported by the CARM (06/02/2009)

The Municipal Socialist Group echoes citizen complaints about the abuses being committed from the municipal government team.

This time is the Acequia Aljada Neighborhood Association which has directed more than twenty occasions, the last three years, the City of Murcia request that complies with existing zoning laws regarding illegal constructions are being built in a municipal plot and other recently promoted by the own town through the municipal water company.

The neighbors, reports the PSOE mayor José Zapata, want to comply with the law, both in terms of the concrete wall of 6 meters high built without planning permission in a municipal plot (assigned under the agreement of the Board Municipal Government approved the Record of Urban Management 0919GE05) of 3,500 m2, as the installation of a vacuum station for the sanitation of the area which has not yet operational.

The same rigor

In this sense, Zapata will present a motion to the next plenary session with the intention of restoring law and of accountability in relation to work carried out over an area described as Area Verde (EV) in the General Plan that does not respect the alignment set for a road invading part of the area defined for it.

Thus, the Socialists are demanding that the PP in La Glorieta the same rigor that is used with some citizens who are brought before the courts by the City for violations of this kind, suffering, sometimes even prison sentences.

Citizens, the most affected

Finally, the Socialist councilor regretted the insensitivity and arrogance of the government team that works committed to tolerate 'supposedly' on the margins of legality, only hurts the whole of Murcia, in this case the residents of Llano de Brujas that may not make use of a basic and essential as the sewerage and older have health guarantees.
