The University of Murcia in Spain is the fifth in the production and marketing of patent (06/02/2009)

The University of Murcia has been placed fifth in the Spanish ranking of production and commercialization of patents, second only to those of Seville, Autonomous and Polytechnic of Madrid and Valencia.

The survey of universities get more return for licenses was conducted by the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE).

According to data collected in the last survey of the Network of Offices Results Transfer (TTO), the number of patent applications in 2007 amounted to 434, a figure somewhat higher than the previous year, which was of 401.
