The Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration of the Autonomous Region of Murcia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and Immigration, has granted the Department of Food Technology of the UCAM, for the third consecutive year, a grant for carry out the project "Nutrition Education in the Class of immigrants in the Region of Murcia."

A project, beyond the professor, seeks to promote the social integration of immigrants in our community.

The doctor and professor in the department of Food Technology of the UCAM and project manager, Juana Maria Morillas, coordinates, along with a group of professionals, these workshops aimed at immigrants from various places in our country as Lorca, Mazarron, Totana, Torre Pacheco, Cartagena and Murcia.

For them, the participants will get the food handler card for work in the field of hospitality.
