The local residents of La Cueva, de Monteagudo, will soon feature a new Senior Center.
The Governing Board today took a step closer with the approval of a budget for furnishing the new center, whose work is now completed.
The City will invest over € 53,000 on this project.
The Senior Center Monteagudo this district has over 200 members.
The new center will replace the old that is badly damaged, has a size of 450 square meters and the work has involved an investment of 414,000 euros.
The building has an auditorium, multipurpose room, hairdressing, chiropody and physiotherapy room, toilets, storage and reading room, among other facilities.
The partners will have new facilities more modern, spacious and comfortable where they can develop all the activities offered by the City Council to improve their quality of life.
The La Cueva has a population of 600 inhabitants, which has meant that the locals have to have these new facilities, which are open to members shortly.
Monteagudo has another Senior Center, which also gives service to the neighborhood of Las Lumbreras.
