The Student Council of the University of Murcia (Ceumar) has begun work on the draft Statute of the College Student in order to submit a report with amendments and proposals to the Secretary of State Universities.
For Ceumar, "this text is of great importance to academics, as the same shall apply to the rights and duties of pupils, the form of access to college and other issues such as mobility, assessment, student participation and representation and others. "
"We believe, Murcia university added that it is a historic opportunity to strengthen the rights of the university and therefore it is essential to understand the involvement of students in the creation of this text."
The Ceumar has asked the Ministry of Science and Innovation "early conclusion of a National Conference of Student Councils."
