Coca Cola Cup comes to Murcia this weekend (28/01/2009)

The seventh edition of the Coca Cola Cup arrives this weekend in Murcia.

Alongside the competition will be installed Football Park, a theme park dedicated to the 'beautiful game'.

This activity is organized by Colebega SA in collaboration with the Department of Sports City of Murcia.

The competition is aimed at young people in schools aged between 13 and 15, forming teams of 15 players, plus a teacher-coach.

Matches will be played on Saturday, January 31, from 9 to 21 hours in the fields of football James, and Joseph Barnes, and Sunday, February 1 from 9-19 pm in the football José Barnes.

The final will be played Sunday at 18 am at the field Joseph Barnes.

Matches will be played under the rules of procedure of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).

The first phase matches will be played in two periods of 25 minutes with a break of five minutes.

The teams will be a minimum of 11 players and a maximum of 18.

The soccer fields where the matches will have a size of 90 x 45 meters or so.

The championship consists of three phases, the first school in which each participating center will look like a team who represents the following cities, which will face schools entered teams of their city, and a national phase which measured the 25 winners from each city plus the winners of the 7 phases of play-offs.

This final phase will be held from 25 to 28 June in La Coruna.

Football Park, football theme park that accompanies the Coca Cola Cup, will be open on Saturday, from 11 to 15 and 16 to 19 hours in the Chinese Garden.

Area will foosball, human football, ball launcher, virtual penalty, activity Chevrolet, Playstation tent, tender touches, pass the area, the sage of marquee football and gifts, among others.

In the previous edition of the Copa Coca Cola 33,000 players participated almost two thousand schools from 25 cities.

6,000 goals were scored.

The final phase held in Seville on 32 teams with 700 young footballers.

In previous editions have been involved some players starting to emerge as Caesar Azpicueta (Osasuna) and Ismael Lopez (Athletic Bilbao).

The winning team last year was the Colegio Santa Maria del Mar de La Coruña.
