The director of the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia, Veronica Lopez, opened the conference this afternoon 'Web 2.0 and Youth Associations', which will analyze the development and use of new technologies in the youth associations.
The ceremony was also attended by the Vice President and Employment Study, Isabel Sanchez, and the president of Youth Council of the Region of Murcia, John David Babyack.
The conference, organized by Caja Mediterranean, will address the resources and tools available on the Internet that help demonstrate and promote the work of youth associations.
Veronica Lopez said that "new technologies have triggered a series of social transformations that have affected crucial to changing the way young people interact," adding that "the Institute of Youth in addition to new forms of communication such as blogs, forums or social networks to reach young people. This meeting, to be held in Community Center Campus Universitario Espinardo 23 and 24 January, will present the experiences of different organizations using the Internet as a means of disseminating their activities.
