The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, this morning visited the home of Santa Claus with his daughter Sun and some fellow Team, including the responsible Party, Rafael Gomez, Education and Personal, Pilar Megía and Road Cleaning, José Ros.
Since Murcia recovered this European tradition and incorporated it into their Christmas tradition of Murcia, along with Bethlehem and the Magi's visit to Santa's House has become a must for thousands of Murcia.
Santa was usually received each year at City Hall by the Mayor and members of the Corporation, but this time the custom has been reversed and the meeting took place at home Basabé installed on the street where thousands delights children.
Chamber noted that "we must be very proud of our Santa Claus, Angel Belmonte, year after year increasing its efforts to embody this endearing character and make the little ones happy."
