The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has this morning approved projects and contract specifications for the installation of traffic signals at two intersections in the villages of El Rincon de Seca Esparragal and, for a total of 52,322.5 euros.
In the case of El Esparragal, regulating traffic lights be installed at the junction of the old N-340 road to Infanta Leonor, located in the urbanization of Los Angeles.
This development is divided by the route of the old road Murcia-Alicante, which carries a high level of traffic, and that is why what is necessary to regulate traffic by installing traffic lights and pass pedestrians.
This regulation will facilitate the passage of pedestrians in the urban core to the Esparragal and El Campillo, where are located the schools, sports, commercial and light industry.
Besides withholding and also avoid unnecessary stops on that road.
Regarding the traffic light regulation in Rincon de Seca, it will be installed at the crossroads of Reguerón with the way the office where a number of circumstances converge to create significant road safety.
Speed limiters will be installed and the installation of traffic signals to alleviate the problems of road traffic, transit and pedestrian mobility, and improved visibility at the intersection.
Moreover, this morning also received the approval of the Governing Board the proposed renovation and remodeling of the pool in the hamlet of Rincon de Seca.
The actions to be performed are as follows: Renewal of the curtain wall perimeter of the facility and outside the locker room, fix the leak and clean and sanitize the pool vessels.
The cost of these works is of 23,260 euros.
