The Minister of Health, María Ángeles Palacios, and the mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, today opened the new primary care clinic in the hamlet of El Esparragal Murcia, built with the capacity to deliver health care to 7,000 people.
In carrying out this infrastructure both administrations have invested a total of 648,685 euros.
At the event, Palacios specified that the Ministry will provide 424,186 euros for the completion of works and equipment of the center.
The building of 514 square meters, is divided into a plant with four family medicine clinics, a pediatric, four nursing visits in which a child is a healing room extractions and rooms and eight modules waiting.
It also has administrative offices and personnel and general services.
The clinic, located on the street Azarbe of Perez, is equipped with a data network for the entire building which enables the use of computerized medical records and connecting it to other hospitals.
This infrastructure is to strengthen health care for the basic health area of Murcia-Monteagudo, included in the Health Area I of Murcia, where a few days ago, on December 3, opened the Health Center of Monteagudo.
