Half a million euros for the acquisition of social housing (12/12/2008)

The Governing Council has approved an agreement by which the Community will grant 500,000 euros to the Association 'Habit' of Murcia for the acquisition of housing for the resettlement of families at risk of social exclusion and the development of activities to promote access to housing for disadvantaged social groups.

With this funding, the Institute for Housing and Land in the Region under the Ministry of Public Works and Planning, enhances regional government policy to facilitate access to adequate housing for citizens and disadvantaged households, for the threshold of income or social exclusion, are not eligible for housing in normal market conditions.
