The Director of Fine Arts and Cultural Heritage, Enrique Ujaldón, and the director general of the Department, María José Jiménez, presented this morning at school Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente's book 'Johnny and the Good Men. "
The story was made to bring younger Good Men Council of the Huerta de Murcia and its application to the Representative List of Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
The book is published 3,000 copies will be distributed by schools and libraries in the region.
In presenting the fifth-grade students represented the story which has included a trial to see how the body.
The authors also participated Maria Teresa Carretero and Maria Belen Sanchez, and the Chairman and Vice Chairman of Good Men, Sigifredo Hernandez and Diego Frutos, who explained to the students the operation of the Council of Good Men.
Good Men is a Customary Court composed of farmers in the vegetable gardens and orchards that oversee the resolution of disputes arising in respect of irrigation, which dates back to the ninth century.
Its members have a duty to promote just solutions and collective interest in the water look like.
The wording in the nineteenth century of the Ordinances of the Huerta de Murcia was granted legal status to the Council.
