Trash talking, magical elves of the forests that turn waste into compost or collaboration superheroes Murcia cleaning are some of the proposals submitted by students
The drawings offer a particular view on how children can get all papers deposited in the bins and garbage bags inside the containers
5,968 students from 88 schools in the county have drawn their ideas and suggestions about how, according to them, you can get everyone deposit trash into the container and paper in the bins.
It is a competition "Murcia Clean" which each year invites the Town Hall and the concessionaire of the street cleaning service and waste collection, Cespa SA between schools in the municipality and which involved students from 3 rd to 6 th grade, aged between 8 and 12 years.
Like every year, the 5,968 works submitted are exposed from today, until Friday, at the roundabout and the 13 winners have been used to compile the 2009 calendar of the council for street cleaning and waste collection, directed by José Ros.
The school competition was launched for the first time in 1995 and since then has grown the participation of schools and pupils.
The contest "Murcia Clean" ends the school year unfolds throughout the year through the organization of lectures, games and visits to the Centre of Urban Waste Management.
The objective of the program is to seek awareness and awareness of school issues related to urban sanitation, waste recycling and the environment.
The campaign held in schools has led to school lectures to learn how to recycle from home through the "Game of waste" and to know the city cleaning, waste collection and guidelines for collaboration.
The activity has been completed with a visit to the Centre of Urban Waste Management to see "in situ" respectful and responsible management of waste.
