Urban trenching prohibited in public until after Christmas (11/12/2008)

The Department of Urban prohibits trenching in the street in the period from December 22 to January 12 in the city, and from 22 December to 7 January in the hamlets.

The existing ditches will be closed to facilitate the movement of pedestrians and vehicles through the center of the city and the districts during the holiday season.

Can only be digging trenches in case of failures in services or emergency.

Work on the parking lot of Liberty Avenue will continue but more steps are open for pedestrians to circulate more easily.

The Planning Department has advised the companies that are doing work in Murcia the work stoppage during the holidays.
