A Nativity by the sculptor Antonio Campillo image will illustrate the official Christmas card with which the rector of the University of Murcia, José Antonio Cobacho, compliment the holidays.

This card was presented today, March 9 at the Rectory building in a ceremony attended by the sculptor himself, the rector and the rector of International Relations and Communication, Maria Angeles Esteban.

During the ceremony, the president sent the card, via email, the entire university community.

The image consists of a carved wooden Nativity, which Campbell has done this year and is based on a sketch of the sculptor created 50 years ago.

Antonio Campillo will be named Doctor Honoris Causa by the University of Murcia on 16 December.
