The Department of Youth, directed by Lola Sanchez, launches two new tools to reach young people from Murcia to expand their ability to participate in social life of the town and encourage their participation in associations and in all that happens around them.
New technologies are the basis on which these two developments are based.
Three training activities complement this new offering.
To complement the Advisory Service and Training for existing youth participation, there are two new tools related to Information and Communication.
The first is on Line Tool Support for Participation in the Internet that may be made from any doubts arise regarding the management and operation of youth associations.
Entities can query, young or not, having or having had a relationship with the Youth Service of the City of Murcia.
They can also consult all those with an interest in issues of partnership and youth participation.

On the other hand, the associations Portal aims to be a fundamental tool for the dissemination of the work and activities of the associations.

Training activities
In addition to these technological developments within the Comprehensive Training Plan for Youth Participation, is launching three special training activities relevant to young people and their groups in the city:
"With the course" How to effectively manage my body "is intended to provide an overview on the organization of youth associations and propose strategies for improving performance.
Is directed to managers of organizations and those seeking to form an association.
Will take place throughout this month.
-Meeting with young immigrants: In the innovative project Youth participation and immigration which is developing the Youth Council, presents this participatory training day for Sunday December 14 with the following objectives:
1. Submit proposals for participation in the council.
2. To know the reality of participation of young immigrants.
3. To share ideas and suggestions for activities.
"The course" Planning and Project Development "aims to provide the means to carry out and submit successful projects.
Is directed to managers of organizations and those who want to form an association.
Be held in January 2009.
Training and technical assistance are an essential part of all resources and programs from the City of Murcia is provided to the youth of the municipality to encourage their participation.
