42 taxi drivers adapted receive a grant of 144,000 euros (06/12/2008)

The City will offer an aid of 144,000 euros will be distributed to the 42 taxi drivers adapted to circulate through the town, thanks to an agreement between the Consistory, ONCE and Imserso.

This grant is due to the increased costs of these vehicles as compulsory travel insurance, repairs and fuel consumption are higher than a normal taxi.

Murcia has a fleet of taxis adapted representing about 15% of the total.
