The University of Murcia has reduced energy consumption in their facilities and services with the implementation of measures and recommendations contained in the draft sustainable campus, led by Vice President for Business and Infrastructure.
Data for September and October reflected a general decline in consumption, most notably the building of the Rectory, with eight percent, and the Financial Management Service, with 22 percent.
From the Vice President indicated that, although still no definitive conclusions can be drawn, the data for the two months mentioned "are very important."
On the other hand, the Vice President, directed by Professor Antonio Calvo-Flores, has launched an awareness campaign to try to achieve a more rational use of the parking Espinardo campus.
The information campaign will target drivers who do not comply with parking regulations, to be informed of the situation and will be warned that in case of recidivism, it will notify the local police.
