A Nativity by the sculptor Antonio Campillo image will illustrate the official Christmas card with which the rector of the University of Murcia, José Antonio Cobacho, compliment the holidays.
This card will be presented on Tuesday, December 9, at 13 pm in the Rectory building in a ceremony attended by the sculptor himself, the rector and the rector of International Relations and Communication, Maria Angeles Esteban.
The image consists of a carved wooden Nativity, which Campbell has done this year and that is another birth that the sculptor created 50 years ago.
During the ceremony will be exposed to the work that is reproduced on the card.
Antonio Campillo will be named Doctor Honoris Causa by the University of Murcia on 16 December.
