La Fiesta, as we know it today, was born in 1983, but began to develop 2 years earlier, in line with the commemoration of the founding of Murcia.

In 1982, Murcia warmly welcomed the parade of Moors and Christians Orihuela, who came to our streets its majesty and elegance, the taste of ancient times studded with culture and history.
