Theater, exhibitions, festivals, Full Child, performances and workshops organized the Department of Health and Human Services, which runs Fulgencio Cervantes, to mark the Week of the Rights of the Child.
The objective of this initiative, which has been pending for eleven years, is to educate young adults and values to promote respect for others and spread the need of caring for the children properly, claiming the helplessness of their rights.
This year the Week of the Rights of the Child is a reminder of the 10 principles contained in the Universal Declaration on the Rights of the Child (UN, 1959), which are: Solidarity, Protection, Identity, Quality of Life, Integration , Care and Love, Education and Game, Report and Solidarity.
This time the focus has been to spread the material on this week in the 161 schools in the municipality, associations and organizations working with children.
In total, 10,000 stickers have been produced on the Principle of Right to Life Solidarity, 15,000 wall calendars, 15,000 booklets of rights and duties, 7,000 desktop portalapiceros, 7,000 rules and 12,000 cartons activities programs.
It has also installed 53 information marquees on the street.
The planned activities are:
- Information Booth.
It will be located in Santo Domingo, from today until November 21 and is open from 11 to 14 and from 17 to 20 hours on Saturday are 11 to 14 hours.
- Children's Theatre.
It will be seven plays for children at the School of Dramatic Art, Archeological Museum, St. Pius X, La Alberca, El Palmar and Valladolises.
- Children's Party.
As every year be held in the Garden Silk, Sunday 23 November.
There will be entertainment activities, inflatables, 25 workshops, climbing wall ...
- Full Childhood.
Be held in the Plenary Hall of the City of Murcia on November 20 and attend school students The Arboleja, Infanta Cristina (Bacons Bridge), Santa María de Gracia, San Buena Ventura.
- Exhibition on the Rights of the Child.
You can visit the Museum of Science and Water, from tomorrow until December 5 in the morning (12 to 13.30 hours, a local primary school) and afternoon (17 to 19 hours, to partnerships and projects with children taking place in the municipality).
Group visits and tours will be and must be requested before the Department.
- Other activities.
In addition, there are exhibitions of works by children, paint shops, workshops, games, murals created by children, dance performances, street activities and gynkanas, to be held in different municipalities.
