The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, has claimed the "most worthy profession" of developers in the ceremony of the V Real Estate Development Awards held this afternoon.
In his brief speech, the Mayor stressed the need to "reclaim and recognize the important contribution that the housing sector is doing and will be made to boost the development and creation of wealth in the region of Murcia."
In this regard, the Chamber has indicated that it is a fundamental and strategic sector "not because of its impact on economic activity, but also because they seek housing for citizens, realizing that constitutional provision."
In addition to congratulate each of the winners and their families, Chamber has brought to the real estate business as "largely responsible for that in recent years, Murcia has advanced and created wealth and is now facing, as all economic sectors these moments of great difficulties. "
Murcia City Council through the Planning Department, will push some a raft of proposals to collaborate with developers to facilitate the processing of licenses and minimize costs.
The measures seek to "the City does not become an obstacle to taking forward the projects of entrepreneurs from Murcia, but cooperate where possible with the private sector to, scrupulously respecting the law, contribute to the creation of wealth and welfare our municipality. "
This approach is even more necessary when going through times of severe economic problems like the present.
In this regard, the Chamber has noted that since the Planning Department is working to implement the licensing of automatic opening and to expedite the return of collateral, thus preventing build many endorsements companies delivered.
Management has already launched initiatives such as the one carried out jointly with the College of Architects to give building permits to basic design which reduces the time of licensing, thus saving money.
Public recognition
This was announced by the Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, in the act of delivery of the V Real Estate Development Awards which aims to conduct a public acknowledgment of the real estate activities that extend their architectural and construction or design , innovators that can become a reference for future action or represent an added value for the region.
The Mayor was presented with the Special Mention awarded to Antonio Garrido Hernandez, Dean-President of the Association of Technical Architects of the Region of Murcia.
