University professors, prosecutors, political scientists and other specialists involved in the National Conference on Human Rights, in its fourth year, was inaugurated today in the auditorium of the University of Murcia, Campus de la Merced.
The meeting, which runs until November 5, will explore issues such as the universality of human rights, human rights in times of crisis and human rights and immigration.
In the opening ceremony, the rector of the University of Murcia, José Antonio Cobacho, highlighted the interest in Congress, which have registered over 400 attendees.
It also emphasized the willingness of teachers who participate in it and the spirit of solidarity of students, who are its promoters.
The conference is organized by the University Association for Human Rights Development and Students of the University of Murcia and counts as academic director with Professor Teresa Vicente.
